Prologue for the Performing Arts

Dear Stephanie,

Further to our telephone conversation, I did want to follow up with a letter to thank you for suggesting that our school book concerts with France Gauthier ("Madame Aventure").

We were delighted with her voice, her choice of songs and with her. The students in grades one to five core French all loved her music. At the concerts France developed an instant rapport with the children and had them participating enthusiastically as she sang and explained the meanings and history of the songs. Many of our teachers, as well as many of our students, told us it was the best French Day program we have had and as you know book a program once a year with you. After the concerts, the students were still asking if we could continue to sing the songs. We find that we personally cannot the music out of our heads - the tunes re-play there all the time!

It was a pleasure working with France Gauthier. She was very willing to accomodate us and was very flexible and agreeable. She is a real professional.

We look forward to arranging other programs with you, and would without a doubt re-book Madame Aventure if the program were available in another few years.
